304 STAINLESS V-BAND ASSEMBLY — LEAK-FREE INTERLOCKING FLANGE DESIGN
The Ace Race Parts brand of Stainless Steel V-Band Assemblies features a 304 Stainless V-Band Clamp and a set of “Male/Female” interlocking V-Band Flanges, which are precision CNC machined from solid 304 Stainless round bar. Our V-Band Clamps, Flanges, and full Assemblies are suitable for fabricating exhaust systems, downpipes, merge collectors, and other custom or replacement components.

Our V-Band Flanges utilize an interlocking flange design that ensures a leak-free seal without the need for a gasket and features a counterbore on the weld side of the flange that allows the matching tube size material to slip into the flange. The counterbore is machined to a width of 0.065″ and aligns with the inside diameter (ID) of matching tube size material — preventing any unnecessary reductions or restrictions in the flow of exhaust gases.

V-BAND CLAMP NOTES
Our V-Band Clamps are supplied with two types of nuts: a zinc plated metal lock nut and a zinc plated non-locking nut. The zinc plated lock nut ensures that your clamp stays locked in placed during harsh conditions on the street, strip, and track. The zinc plated non-locking hex nut is provided so that the clamp can be used in mock-up, fitment, and pre-installation situations where a lock nut is not required. The non-locking hex nut will not lock in place during use to ensure that the threaded portion of the clamp will not be damaged.

The metal lock nut is a locking-style nut and is not intended to be used during mock-up. Attempting to thread, remove, and re-thread the lock nut may cause damage to the “T-Bolt” section of the clamp. In some cases, excessive force can damage and/or break the “T-Bolt” section of the exhaust v-band clamp. If you intend to use our clamps during the mock-up process please use a non-locking hex nut.

V-BAND FLANGE NOTES
Due to flange dimension differences, “Standard” style and “Quick Release” style V-Band Clamps and Flanges are NOT cross-compatible. Please reference the individual product title, description, and dimensional table to ensure compatibility.
